After over a year of cycling though working, playing gigs, saving up, and aligning schedules, I finally made it to the last recording session! I started the scratch tracks on November 13, 2024 using my home demos as templates. We finished on December 6, 2025 with recording the vocals for the last three songs.
We recorded 14 tracks total, including one instrumental track. Some of the songs may be released later or as bonus material. I’m focusing on creating a cohesive album, so it will be a challenge to decide what makes it on the final cut!
I enjoyed the recording process so it was bittersweet, though I am ready to push forward towards the release. I’m very grateful for my bandmates Tom and Jess, I appreciate their collaborative energy and the results are beyond my wildest dreams for this project! We had a blast working with Jacob at Superior Sound Studios.
There’s a lot more work to be done. Editing will be happening within the next month or so. Meanwhile, I am ramping up the art production and planning of the music videos. I work full-time and I am a veterinary technician student so the balancing act has been quite heavy for a long while.
I will be very busy in my winter ‘hibernation,’ as I have a lot of work to do to support the release. The cover art design has been finalized and I am working on the full scale version that will be produced in oil on canvas. I’m also working on the music video story boards and constructing sets, costumes, and props in my basement.
The album is set to start rolling out in 2026. I’m very excited to share this project with the world!
