BAND BIO

Glass Aeros is a female-fronted alternative rock band from Cleveland, Ohio, drawing inspiration from The Smashing Pumpkins, The Cure, and Chelsea Wolfe. Blending rock, goth, and alternative textures, the band creates dark, cinematic soundscapes rooted in emotional honesty. Founded by Judy “June” De Angelis on guitar and vocals, with Jessica Jane on cello and Tom Nagle on drums, Glass Aeros is currently preparing their debut album—an exploration of trauma, transformation, and healing.

Bio

Judy 'June' De Angelis

Guitar, Viola, Vocals

Judy “June” De Angelis is a musician and visual artist drawing inspiration from bands like The Smashing Pumpkins, The Cure, and Destroy Boys, as well as art movements like Surrealism, Art Nouveau, Bauhaus, and Art Deco. A classically trained violist, she overcame early shyness to teach herself guitar, write her own songs, and form her band, Glass Aeros.

Her debut EP, Sunset Revelations, was released in 2021. She is now collaborating with Jessica Jane and Tom Nagle on Glass Aeros’ first full-length album, alongside its accompanying art. Based in Cleveland, she remains active in the local music and arts scenes, collaborates with other musicians, and continues to play viola while learning cello.

Judy is also a full-time veterinary assistant at a non-profit spay and neuter clinic and is pursuing her veterinary technician license.


 

Jessica Jane

Bass and Cello

Jessica Jane is a classically-trained musician with 13 years of cello experience and proficiency in many instruments including piano, bass, cello, and vocals. She graduated from The Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music and now teaches and tutors music. Although classically-trained, she has worked with many local musicians branching out into classic rock, punk, and alternative styles. In addition to working with cover bands, she has written and performed originals and has been featured on recorded songs.
