I had a very spooky weekend at Wickyards in Youngstown, Ohio. I love a rainy day, though not so much when we have a long drive. I was excited to play at a mansion that was a funeral home turned into a music venue.
The building remained intact, including the showroom coffins. The only alteration was the stage in a room that may have been used to hold a wake.
I was having electrical issues with my board. I tested everything during rehearsals. Maybe I should have used the Ouija board!
I played with Hobo Phantasm and Bwak Dwagon. The show had an eclectic vibe and I had a great time. I’m hoping I get to play with these bands again and I hope I can return to Wickyards soon!
